Albion Amplification US selects The Marketeers for representation in Southeast
Albion is the brainchild of Steve Grindrod, legendary amp designer for four decades. For those unfamiliar with the history of Steve Grindrod, apart from having been a pro musician and building his first guitar amp at the age of 13, he has been designing and engineering amplifier and speaker products for two of England’s most famous guitar amp companies. From 1973 to 2000, Grindrod served as Chief Engineer and Director of Research and Development for Marshall Amplification. Under his direction, Marshall produced their most successful product lines to date. In 2000, Grindrod was invited by VOX to become Managing Director and Chief Designer, a position he held until 2008. The products of Grinrod’s work have been heard on countless recordings and are featured on more concert and club stages than could be counted. - Bass Player Magazine (NOV 2010) Albion is distributed in the United States by Onori Entertainment, headed by Richie Onori.
